"I first saw Emily’s work at Crufts a few years ago. I was walking through the shops and stalls at the NEC and surrounded by dog images of every description, everywhere. Then I came across Emily’s artwork and I just stopped, and looked, and fell in love with those images straight away. I knew I had to have one. Anyone who loves dogs will see that Emily loves dogs, you can see it in the eyes, I think. The eyes are the most difficult thing to get right, and she nailed it! I was thrilled with Emily’s painting of my Buddy. I had just qualified as a dog behaviourist, and was setting up my new company Blackdog. I was so impressed by that picture, that I asked Emily to design the corporate logo. Though my Buddy has gone now, he lives on! Thanks Emily.

"The concept of art that I could
hang in my newly landscaped garden was new to me and I was excited
by the prospect of adding a commissioned piece of artwork to my
garden which I also considered to be a work of art. As soon as
I met Emily I knew from her enthusiasm and obvious delight in
her work that the end result would be stunning. Emily produced
some drawings for me to look at as a starting point and the ideas
developed from there. We agreed on a design, colours and cost
and she worked closely with me throughout. I am delighted with
